Daniel Patrick Murphy is a photographer, an outdoorsman and a cyclist residing in the beautiful, yet more often than not, frigid city of Minneapolis, MN. He works full time for Quality Bicycle Products and spends an equal amount of his days fishing on the Mississippi.
Having devoted much of his high school career to the darkroom, he found his way to George (Geordie) Byron Griffiths, a renowned photographer, mentor and friend. Geordie taught him about the business and art of photography during the 4 years he attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a BA in Philosophy in 2011.
After shooting occasional events, weddings and working a soul sucking 3 months for JCPenney Portraits, Daniel found regular work with The Heavy Table and Growler Magazine where he is currently a frequent contributor. He also works remotely for Ewing Irrigation, frequently traveling to Arizona, California, Oregon and Texas.
In his off time, he regularly shoots events, weddings, and any other freelance jobs he can make time for. He is here to make your shoot work for you; not rob your wallet. Contact him with inquiries and he will get back to you sooner than later, rest assured.
